The problem with an overloaded queue is that if you do not clear it correctly, you can end up just backing it up further. Here are our suggestions:
- Save your work
- Turn your printer off and disconnect the plug to protect the printer from mechanical damage and yourself from injury
- On your computer, in the search bar search for Services > right-click on Print Spooler > Click on Stop.
- Then open C:\Windows\System32. Double click on Spool and open
- Delete all files from the queue and restart your computer
- Plug in your printer and turn it on
